Empire Pipeline is evaluating projects to further expand its system capabilities in the south to north direction of flow. Through the addition of system horsepower and/or pipeline looping, Empire may have the ability to transport additional Marcellus and Utica production gas to upstate New York and Canadian markets.

Empire is evaluating incremental south-to-north firm transport capacity on its system for the upcoming 2024/25 winter season. Based on the analysis results, Empire may make available winter only FT capacity at the maximum applicable tariff rate, which would be offered to the market in an Open Season. The capacity mentioned herein could include southern system receipt points and northern system delivery points.
