Empire’s location gives it the opportunity to be a key transporter in the North American pipeline grid. Empire’s Firm Transportation (FT) service will reliably move gas supplies to several on-system LDCs located throughout upstate New York and to growing U.S. and Canadian markets via interconnections with several major interstate pipelines including Millennium, TC Energy, Tennessee Gas and National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation. These interconnections provide shippers with access to storage services as well.

Shippers that contract for Empire’s FT service will be able to customize their service by choosing from a number of primary receipt and delivery points. All receipt and delivery points are also available on a secondary basis, providing the shipper with added flexibility. Shippers also have the ability to mitigate reservation costs by releasing capacity to others either in whole or in part on a temporary or permanent basis. Open access transportation is available to all qualified shippers on a firm basis. New facilities can be constructed if necessary and if economically feasible.

These provide shippers with access to storage services, as well.

Shippers that contract for Empire Pipeline’s IT service will be able to customize their delivery by choosing from all of Empire’s receipt and delivery points.

All receipt and delivery points are also available on a secondary basis, providing the shipper with added flexibility. Shippers also have the ability to mitigate reservation costs by releasing their unneeded capacity to others either in whole or in part on a temporary or permanent basis.
