PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the administration of Operator Qualifications (OQ’s) including the instruction of Initial and Refresher training classes, the scheduling of classes and qualifications, and the covered task evaluation for all Operations Personnel
- Responsible for updating all class material including presentations, hand-outs, and hands-on models
- Preparation for classes includes configuration of classroom(s) and readiness of hands-on models/displays, as well as ensuring appropriate levels of materials/tooling available
- Willingness to share one’s own field experience(s) or lessons learned with class participants in order to reinforce concepts/procedures/protocols
- Clear, concise communication of topic material, and ability to interpret/explain material in numerous ways in order to help ensure comprehension
- Follow-up with class participants in the field, and at job locations, in order to reinforce procedures and concepts
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s Degree with supervisory and/or field experience
- Currently Operator Qualified, or willing to become fully Operator Qualified to National Fuel’s OQ standards
- Strong public speaking skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Proficient with PowerPoint and Word
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in construction management, engineering technology, or process management
- Experience in technical instruction, within both classroom, lab, and field settings

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this position is $60,500 – $80,000.
This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
