The Energy Affordability Program (EAP) provides monthly bill discounts on gas delivery charges ranging from $3-$23.36. Discounts are subject to change.

Households who receive HEAP or another form of financial assistance from certain government or tribal programs may be eligible. Find the list of qualifying programs on the reverse side.

Accounts that are eligible for EAP will also be enrolled in a Budget Plan to help make winter bill more affordable.

Qualifying governmental assistance programs for the Energy Affordability Program (EAP) include:

  • Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)*
  • Lifeline Telephone Service Program (Lifeline)
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Medicaid
  • Veterans Disability or Survivors Pension
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance
  • Head Start (if living on tribal lands)
  • Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance (if living on tribal lands)
  • Tribal TANF (if living on tribal lands)
  • Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (if living on tribal lands)
  • Utility Guarantee / Direct Vendor programs
  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
  • Safety Net Assistance
