Tioga Pathway Project Overview

Tioga Pathway Project Overview

National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation, a subsidiary of National Fuel Gas Company, plans to seek approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for authorization to build and operate its proposed Tioga Pathway Project.

The Tioga Pathway Project (Project) is designed to add firm transportation capacity to bring supplies of Marcellus and Utica Shale gas from the Appalachian basin into the interstate pipeline grid. The Project was developed to provide an outlet for Appalachian gas to reach diverse markets, thus enhancing the reliability of natural gas supplies in the region. As part of this project, National Fuel would also modernize a section of its Line Z20 pipeline system.

Pending the receipt of FERC approval and all required permits and clearances, construction is scheduled to begin in June 2026 with a target in-service date in Fall 2026.
